1858 Geosphere CARBO₂ 0 Oxygen Limited Edition - 1969 pieces

Montblanc adds to its Geosphere range with this 0 Oxygen model. The CARBO₂ case material harnesses a pioneering technology that captures CO₂ emissions from biogas production and mineral wastes produced by recycling factories and, through a process of calcium dissolution and carbonation, transforms them into a calcium carbonate powder. This powder is then combined with ultra-lightweight, ultra-resistant carbon fibres to form a composite. Distinguished by its dark nuances, CARBO₂ is used for the case middle, combined with titanium elements for a diameter of 43.5mm. The rugged outline of Mont Blanc appears on the case middle, glowing with Super-Luminova under a layer of protective varnish. The same Mont Blanc is depicted a second time, with extraordinary realism, laser-etched on the case back. Presented in a 1,969-piece limited edition, this Geosphere also benefits from 0 Oxygen technology. The absence of oxygen inside the case prevents fogging, a consequence of temperature change, and oxidization of the components. Calibre MB 29.25 with automatic winding drives displays of world time, shown on two rotating globes representing the northern and southern hemispheres, a day/night indication, a second time zone and the date.
