The Altiplano line has always stayed focused on the essential, which doesn't exclude some feats of technique for its 60th anniversary. And so for the first time ever, Piaget's iconic collection is joined by a tourbillon, the guardian of precision and here too a symbol of the jeweller's dexterity. The Altiplano spirit and the quest for the ultimate in thinness remain at the heart of this watch, which owes its slender profile to a new, extra-thin, manual-wind, mechanical tourbillon movement, the 670P. This mechanical virtuosity is given a suitably precious showcase among the baguette diamonds that frame the guilloché enamelled dial. The view is equally charming on the reverse side, with circular Côtes de Genève and hand-applied circular graining on the plate and bridges to underscore the rare beauty of this 38-piece limited edition.
