Battista Tourbillon
Bovet 1822 presents the Battista Tourbillon, the horological counterpart to the Battista by Automobili Pininfarina, the first ever 100% electric hyper-GT. Bovet transposes the car’s most salient design features to the watch, for example the exterior curves that reappear in the fluid line of the hands, bridges and dial. Indeed, references to the hypercar abound, such as the Triangolo pattern or the two partners’ collaborative flags on the power-reserve subdial. The three-dimensional construction incorporates a new movement beating at 18,000 vibrations/hour whose patented flying tourbillon is clearly visible from the dial side and from the back. A single barrel builds ten days of power reserve. Another patent has been awarded for the miniaturised winding system with spherical differential. Three limited editions of 30 pieces each are proposed, measuring 45.6mm in diameter, in red gold, titanium or platinum.
