Big Bang MP-11

Hublot builds on expertise acquired in machining and industrializing high-tech materials to craft the case of the Big Bang MP-11 from three-dimensional carbon fibre woven resin - with a cutting-edge movement to match. Inspired by the MP-05 LaFerrari and its 50 days of power reserve, this new Big Bang incorporates seven series-coupled barrels that deliver 14 days of power reserve, tracked by an in-line indicator. And because Hublot loves a challenge, power from the horizontally positioned barrels is transmitted via a helical worm gear - a system rarely seen in watchmaking – to the vertical geartrain that drives the hour and minute display. Last but not least, the 3D carbon case means the entire watch, strap included, weighs just 90 grams.
