Big Bang Unico Berluti Cold Brown

Since the launch of their collaboration in 2016, Hublot and Berluti have given life to a series of watches that associate the shoemaker’s distinctive patinated Venezia leather with the watchmaker’s Art of Fusion. This latest production is the first time the two partners have taken the Big Bang Unico chronograph as their starting point. The dial is crafted from Venezia leather, enhanced with a rich Cold Brown patina and secured between two sapphire crystals. Part of the dial has been cut away to reveal the workings of the MHUB1242 flyback chronograph calibre with column wheel. Previously reserved for the strap and the dial, the same Venezia leather appears for the first time on the bezel, which has a new two-part construction. Using an adhesive and rigidifying resin, the first part - in leather and 1mm thick - is inserted onto the second part in black ceramic. The bezel will continue to develop its unique patina over time; as will the strap of this 100-piece limited edition.
