BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze

Since its first Skull watch in 2009, Bell & Ross has continued to elaborate on this memento mori theme. This year’s interpretation comes as a 500-piece limited edition in bronze, and is inspired by a model from 2020 whose angled and facetted skull, in rose gold-plated brass, suggests origami folding. Manually winding the in-house BR-CAL.210 movement makes the jaw move up and down, as though the skull were laughing at some private joke. Plate and bridges are shaped to stay hidden behind the skull. Just a few wheels are revealed, along with the balance (or brain) at 12 o’clock – a sign of the watch’s cerebral activity.
