Cartier Privé Tank Chinoise Squelette
Themes:
Classic, Design
Specificities:
Gem-Set, Skeleton
Introduced in 1922, the Tank Chinoise looks to Chinese temple architecture and specifically the geometric porticos or gates, transposed to the watch as horizontal brancards over the vertical brancards. In this centennial year, Cartier is releasing two models including this version whose openworked and lacquered dial borrows from the design of traditional Chinese windows. It also allows a glimpse of the skeletonised 9627 MC calibre, which was developed at the Manufacture, exclusively for this Tank Chinoise. There are two limited editions of 100 pieces each, in yellow gold or in platinum, in addition to this platinum execution set with 161 diamonds on the case and buckle.
