Classic AVI Chronograph 42 P-51 Mustang

Breitling returns to its Classic AVI - a robust pilot’s chronograph inspired by the historic 1953 Ref. 765 AVI Co-Pilot watch - with a scaled-down diameter of 42mm (rather than 46mm). Powered by the Breitling Caliber 23 movement, with a column wheel and vertical clutch for the chronograph, it boasts the colourways of four legendary aircraft: a black dial and gold-brown leather strap to represent the versatile Mustang; a blue dial with black strap in honour of the carrier-based Corsair; a khaki dial with brown strap for the camouflaged look of the Warhawk; a black dial with black ceramic bezel on a brown strap to capture the de Havilland Mosquito (nicknamed the “Wooden Wonder”). The planes’ engraved silhouettes feature on the back of the cases in steel for all four models, with an additional 18k red gold version (shown here) for the Mustang.
