Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger's Eye

H. Moser & Cie. returns to the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept with a dial in tiger’s eye. This variety of microcrystalline quartz forms from amosite whose fibres have been partially replaced with silica. Arranged in fine layers, these fibres cause the iridescent shifts in colour from blue-grey to reddish brown to golden brown. A reinterpretation, in natural stone, of Moser’s signature fumé dials, two varieties of tiger’s eye are at the heart of two 50-piece limited editions: one in white gold with a falcon’s eye dial and another in red gold with an ox’s eye dial. Having neither logo nor indices, the dial offers a blank canvas for the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. H. Moser & Cie. will produce 20 of these watches a year and, because every tiger’s eye stone is different, each one will be unique.
