Grande Seconde Off-Centered Chronograph

When Jaquet Droz introduces a monopusher chronograph to its collections, it does so with certain stipulations, namely an exclusive, in-house calibre, perfect legibility and a design that blends with the clean aesthetic of the Grande Seconde. The Grande Seconde Off-Centered Chronograph respects this brief to the letter, starting with a manufacture movement with column wheel and silicon balance spring. Readability comes from the off-centre positioning of the hours and minutes subdial, creating space for the 30-minute chronograph counter that combines with a retrograde date display. A central chronograph seconds hand completes the picture. The defining "8" layout is thus preserved while the crown, positioned at 4 o'clock, creates an interesting diagonal symmetry. Available as an 88-piece limited edition completed by three renditions, including this Silver model, in the regular collection.
