Beat Haldimann comes from a long line of watchmakers that goes back to the seventeenth century. Which doesn't prevent him from moving with the times and embracing the technologies that go with them. This is made evident by the more than original approach to his craft that he has demonstrated these past eighteen years, ever since the H104 clock. This year, the master watchmaker has chosen the H11 and H12 for his first watch in steel. Both show hours and minutes, with the addition of small seconds for the H12. The superb granular effect for the silver grené dial is achieved using silver powder. The indexes are engraved and the recesses filled with lacquer. Turning the watch over reveals a sapphire back and, through it, an in-house movement with a central balance wheel, patented lever escapement and Haldimann's proprietary anti-shock system. The 39-mm diameter makes this an exquisite watch for men and women alike.
