Histoire de Tourbillon 6

Themes: Technical
Specificities: Tourbillon, Chronograph, Time Zones

Once again, Harry Winston takes watchmaking beyond the realms of possibility with the sixth chapter in this epic tale of tourbillons. This new iteration, the most complex to date, combines two independent time indications. One is regulated by a triaxial tourbillon and the other by a karussel, each with twin coaxial barrels. The hours and minutes display on the left is colour-coded orange on a grey background. The second dial on the right, which is regulated by the karussel, is distinguished by blue hands on black which can be started, stopped and reset on demand. This right-hand display, which can remain idle, therefore doubles as a monopusher chronograph, and will also function as a second time zone which can be set to the nearest minute. This may be the sixth chapter, it is also clearly a first.
