Hautlence's vocation, ever since it was founded in 2004, has been to explore new ways of telling the time. The HL Vagabonde is no exception to this way of thinking. Four discs occupy the TV-screen-shaped dial. The largest, central disc in sapphire shows minutes on a 240° segment. Positioned at regular intervals around it, three smaller, skeletonised discs take turns to indicate hours in a window. When the minute disc reaches the end of its 240° trajectory, the 00 immediately aligns with the next hour window, ready to begin another 60-minute revolution. The movement uses a H. Moser & Cie. calibre as a base, to which Hautlence has added its own module. The more classic version of this HL Vagabonde matches a titanium case with a black dial, while a second, more sporting variation introduces orange accents.
