When the J12 made its debut in 2000, it captured the imagination with its all-ceramic exterior. Twenty years later, the J12 is considered an icon of contemporary watchmaking. Measuring 38mm in diameter, the J12•20 boasts a champlevé enamel dial decorated with twenty symbols and references to the House of Chanel, such as a 2.55 handbag, a camellia, a bottle of N°5 perfume, a tweed jacket and a Première watch. Twenty diamonds – one for each year - lend sparkle to the bezel, the dial (on a white gold base) and the triple folding clasp. Naturally for a J12, both case and bracelet are ceramic. Keeping time with a power reserve of 70 hours is the COSC-certified Calibre 12.1, which is wound by a black oscillating weight set with 34 brilliant-cut diamonds. Proposed as two limited editions of five, in white or black.
