Klepcys Alarm
Rolling out a refreshed design, the Klepsys Alarm sports a more compact, 42mm case in steel, paired with a grained dial. Its titular alarm takes a page from a minute-repeater mechanism, with a bell-shaped hammer striking a gong in an aperture between 7 and 8 o'clock. Brushed and polished by hand, it rings at the appointed time for at least 16 seconds. Twin barrels deliver 72 hours of power reserve to the manual-winding CYR1280 manufacture movement. Both crowns are functional, with the crown at 3 o'clock for winding the movement, setting the time and setting the alarm. A push on the crown at 9 o'clock activates or deactivates the alarm, shown by a blue arrow above the words "Marche" (On) or "Arrêt" (Off). Mounted on the central body of the case, the three-dimensional bezel has a square base, while the three-dimensional architecture of the dial emphasises the off-centre position of hours/minutes/seconds and the alarm subdial which is graduated over 24 hours with five-minute intervals, not forgetting an am/pm indication.
