Legacy Machine Split Escapement

The one technical constant across every watch in the MB&F Legacy Machine collection is the suspended balance wheel. In the LM Split Escapement, it sits just below the highest point of the domed crystal, oscillating without any visible source of energy. The other essential components – the escape wheel and lever that provide the driving impulse – are concealed on the other side of the movement, hence the name "split" escapement. Underneath the balance, the three dials of the LM SE show the time at 12 o’clock, power reserve at 4 o’clock and the date at 8 o’clock. The frosted finish of the lacquered dials has a different colour for each of the four editions, limited to 18 pieces each.
