Chronograph, Vintage
Timing successive intervals with a conventional chronograph means the hands must first be stopped then reset to zero. With a flyback chronograph, a single press on the pusher returns the hands to zero and immediately restarts timing. Pilots are among those who can appreciate this simplified use, for example when several instantaneous calculations have to be performed to locate the plane's position. The Manero Flyback collection, introduced in 2016, now welcomes a steel version with black dial. The CFB 1970 movement has a traditional construction and is controlled by a heat-blued column wheel. Note the more unusual two-register layout with counters for 30 minutes and small seconds which adds to the vintage look. Also proposed in gold.
