MP-07 42 Days Power Reserve

Anyone with reservations about the MP-05 LaFerrari, introduced in 2013 and re-released this year with a sapphire case, should take a look at the MP-07. Movement construction is the same, with the one difference that Hublot has stacked the barrels horizontally for a more comfortable fit. The nine barrels deliver a 42-day power reserve (compared with eleven barrels and 50 days of power reserve for the MP-05). The time display is also more intuitive, with rotating hour and minute discs sitting side by side, opposite the power reserve. There is also a small seconds indicator which is tied to the flying tourbillon in a separate window. Because of the extra-long power reserve, the movement is wound by a special tool. The MP-07 may not be linked to any kind of car, it has plenty under the hood nonetheless.
