Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio – 47mm

Towards the late 1930s, Panerai made a number of Radiomir watches with a special, 12-sided bezel, engraved with the words “OFFICINE PANERAI – BREVETTATO”. This inscription, which refers to the patented luminous substance on the dial, suggests these watches were intended not for military operations but for evaluation by the authorities of the Royal Italian Navy. This special edition reprises all the fundamental characteristics of these vintage watches. The brown dial evokes the glow of the Radiomir, the radium-based luminous substance on the original black dials. This Radiomir watch comes as a limited edition of 1,000 with brown dial, and as a limited edition also of 1,000 with black dial.
