Reverso One Precious Colours
Jaeger-LeCoultre looks to the exuberance and strong, clean lines of Art Deco for the Reverso One Precious Colours. This decorative style is known for its repetitive use of parallel lines and rectilinear motifs to form chevrons and zigzags, amplified by blocks of colour and metal accents. Such a geometric design covers the back of this new model - crafted in-house at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares® workshop - then wraps around the sides where it meets the dial. The white mother-of-pearl of the dial contrasts with the vivid colours of its enamelled frame and the sparkle of the diamonds on the gadroons and lugs. When the swivel case is turned over, the Reverso One Precious Colours becomes a piece of High Jewellery. The pattern, in shades of blue with black on rose gold, or in tones of green on white gold, is executed in miniature-painted Grand Feu enamel with diamond-set accents. Enamelling the convex case sides at the same time as the flat case back is particularly difficult as the two areas require a different consistency of enamel for better adherence during firing. Manual-winding Calibre 846 provides 38 hours of power reserve.
