Minute repeaters, which chime the time on demand, are one of the most challenging complications. A 50-piece limited edition in platinum, this Richard Lange Minute Repeater from A. Lange & Söhne is a classical interpretation that chimes a low note for each hour, a double tone for each quarter-hour and a higher pitched note for each additional minute. The technical enhancements made to the striking mechanism include a patented hammer blocker and a pause elimination that does away with the pauses between the hour, quarter-hour and minute strikes. Equipped with the newly developed L122.1 in-house movement, this Richard Lange Minute Repeater houses its three-part white enamel dial, crafted at the Manufacture, inside a case that is water-resistant to 20 metres.
