Who but Hermès could have imagined this encounter between a rather cross-looking bear – an uncommon subject in watchmaking - and the delicate technique of miniature enamel painting. The image on this Slim Grrrrr! is borrowed from a design by Alice Shirley for a Hermès silk scarf. Enamel artist Jean-Luc Peter has reproduced its ursine features in exquisite detail. Hour and minute functions are driven by the extra-thin H1950 calibre (2.60 mm high) by Vaucher Manufacture that equips the non-complication watches in the Slim collection.
