Speedmaster Super Racing

The latest Speedmaster is fine-tuned for precision, courtesy of the Spirate™ System. Thanks to Omega’s patent-pending balance spring mechanism, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9920 calibre achieves METAS-certified precision of a remarkable 0/+2 seconds a day. The innovation lies with a Si14 balance spring combined with an eccentric adjustment mechanism on the balance bridge that enables the watchmaker to adjust the stiffness of the spring’s attachment point. This new approach is based on a high-precision articulated structure with flexible bearings. Omega contains this chronograph movement in a 44.25mm steel case. Small seconds, at 9 o’clock on the honeycomb pattern dial, sit opposite the single counter for chronograph hours/minutes, which can also show a second time zone.
