The captivating Moon draws the eye in this ladies' watch, part of Parmigiani's Métro collection. The moonphase display of this new movement makes subtle refinements to its seemingly classic appearance, with its russet colour. Its surface is dotted with craters which are obtained through successive layering of transfers. The lotus blossom lacework in the centre of the dial is crafted from two levels of mother-of-pearl, placed one above the other and each a wafer-thin 0.2 mm "thick". The moonphase display can be adjusted independently of the time and date to correspond to the wearer's location, using a pusher at 9 o'clock.
