Themes: Technical
Specificities: Skeleton, Chronograph

The most distinctive feature of the chronograph function on this Tradition model is that it has its own entirely independent going train complete with a 5 Hz high-frequency balance wheel, hence the main movement is not affected by its running. There is, however, no second barrel that would take up too much space, but instead an innovative patent-pending blade spring that handles each zero-resetting operation. Its autonomy lasts no longer than 20 minutes, but that is deemed sufficient to handle the function. Contrary to customary chronographs, one of the pushers serves exclusively for starting, and the other for stopping and resetting to zero. So as to preserve the distinctive design of the collection, Breguet has displayed considerable ingenuity in its quest for symmetry.
