UR-220 "The Falcon Project"

Changes are afoot between the UR-210 and its new evolution as the UR-220. These are most in evidence on the back of the watch where, for example, the Oil Change indication appears as a gauge – activated by a pusher- that counts down the recommended service interval of 39 months on two adjacent rollers. This first iteration of the UR-220 is also Urwerk’s first use of carbon for a case that is ultra-light as well as hyper-resistant. Features borrowed from the UR-210 include Urwerk’s patented satellite complication for the wandering hours display, shown on three rotating cubes that dock with an openworked minutes pointer. As soon as the pointer reaches the end of the minute scale (shown on a 120 degree arc), it returns to its starting point where it docks with the next hour cube. Power reserve is read off two subdials, first one then the other, each representing 24 hours of the total 48-hour reserve.
