Aquis Pro 1000M
Oris follows up on 2023’s Aquis Pro 4000M with a professional dive watch at a slimmed-down size and price point. The Aquis Pro 1000M shares the same 49.5mm diameter as its predecessor but at 16.6mm thick, is almost 7mm thinner. Another difference is the titanium case whose dark grey, almost black PVD coating matches its tool-watch personality; characteristics confirmed by the presence of a locking bezel and a helium valve for saturation dives. The two models also diverge in terms of movement. Whereas the 4000M uses the in-house Calibre 400, the 1000M is powered by Calibre 733 on a Sellita base that holds a 42-hour power reserve. As well as the advantage that it can be serviced by any watchmaker, this movement means Oris can position this professional dive watch at a competitive price. The Aquis Pro 1000M features the same dial and bezel designs as its sibling. The unidirectional bezel has a dark blue ceramic insert with light blue markings for the first 15 minutes of dive time and white markings for the rest, coated with blue and green Super-Luminova respectively. The watch is supplied with interchangeable black and blue rubber straps.
