Black Bay Pro

Tudor’s new Black Bay Pro has a 39mm diameter, a 24-hour scale on a fixed steel bezel and a specially developed in-house calibre with a built-in GMT function. This MT5652 movement is typical of Tudor’s development process, which builds on adaptable movement architecture to integrate new functions rather than resort to additional modules. Engineered for robustness and reliability, it incorporates a silicon balance spring on a variable inertia balance that is held by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point fixation. Chronometer-certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), the average variation in rate of between -2 and +4 seconds/day in fact outperforms the standard set by this institute. While part of the Black Bay line, this Pro model introduces a number of original aesthetic details in the form of a redesigned crown, hour markers in monobloc luminous ceramic and a new clasp with a rapid length-adjustment system.
