Calatrava Reference 6007A-001

Celebrating completion of the brand's new production facility in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva, this unusual Calatrava in polished steel is proposed as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. Steel, used for the case and for the wide rounded bezel, is a metal rarely employed in Patek Philippe's collections. Equally original is the dial concept: the railway track hour circle displays triangular markers aligned with Arabic numerals, swept by baton hands. The blue-edging-towards-grey colour adds further impact to the dial, as does the textured "carbon" pattern in the centre. As a final touch, the calfskin strap has been delicately embossed to create a woven effect that accentuates this watch's sport-luxe styling.
