J12 Diamond Tourbillon

Chanel chose Watches and Wonders 2022 to unveil the J12 Diamond Tourbillon, which is fitted with the brand’s first in-house tourbillon movement. Superbly executed front and back, this Calibre 5 is adorned with a lion’s head: the hallmark of a Chanel Haute Horlogerie movement. Taking its cue from the black ceramic livery of the original J12, this latest creation is also cloaked in black, with diamonds on the bezel, hands and crown. In a feat of technique, a solitaire diamond, uniquely cut to maximise its brilliance, rotates inside a circle of diamonds at the centre of the flying tourbillon. The J12 Diamond Tourbillon exists in matte black ceramic and steel, and in glossy black ceramic and 18k white gold. Each version is limited to 55 watches.
