Pasha de Cartier Grille

Revived and refreshed in 2000, the Pasha de Cartier returns with a date display as well as a removable grid which can be clipped and unclipped from the bezel without any special tools. There are three versions: one in yellow gold (41mm) and two in pink gold (35mm and 30mm) with diamonds on the bezel and the grid. Cartier’s QuickSwitch system makes for easy swapping out of the alligator strap, which is offered in a range of colours. Named after the Pasha of Marrakesh, Thami El Glaoui, who was a loyal Cartier customer, the Pasha first appeared in the 1980s, a decade that welcomed bold designs. The grid on this latest iteration is inspired by a water-resistant Cartier watch from 1943 whose dial was protected by the same system.
