TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing

Famed for its involvement in motorsports in general and Formula 1 in particular, TAG Heuer is a longstanding partner to Oracle Red Bull Racing. The brand has also become Official Timekeeper of Formula 1 as part of a deal between its owner, LVMH, and the sport. To commemorate the occasion, five new versions of the Formula 1 Chronograph have been released including one that is specially dedicated to the brand’s racing partner. Launched in 1986 and the first collection under the TAG Heuer name, it returns with a sleek titanium case measuring 44mm across and 14.1mm high. All four regular models are equipped with a fixed tachymeter bezel in DLC-coated aluminium surrounding a flat sapphire crystal. Ticking inside is the TAG Heuer Calibre 16, on an ETA 7750 base, which runs at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations/hour) and delivers 42 hours of power reserve. Splashes of red, yellow or blue, depending on the model, on the chrono hands, dial edge, crown and case/bezel joint emphasise the motorsport aesthetic. The Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing edition features a case, pushers and crown in non-DLC sandblasted titanium. A forged carbon bezel frames the dial in the Oracle Red Bull team’s opaline blue.
