Tortue Monopoussoir Chronograph
A new complication joins the Cartier Privé collection in the form of a monopusher chronograph. First seen on a Tortue watch in 1928, this function returned in 1998 as part of the Collection Privée Cartier Paris, and features from this revisit abound on the 2024 revival, such as the blued steel apple hands, the hollowed counterweight for the centre seconds hand and the triangular motifs at the corners of the dial. The positioning of the railway minutes track outside the Roman numerals enhances legibility and gives priority to the two chronograph counters. Start, stop and reset are controlled by a single pusher which is integrated into the crown. Finished to Haute Horlogerie standards, the 1928 MC Manufacture movement stands just 4.3mm high, making it Cartier's slimmest ever chronograph. There are two limited-edition versions of 200 pieces each, in yellow gold or platinum on an interchangeable alligator strap.
