Dive into a discussion with a horologist who transitioned from Los Angeles to Switzerland, embracing a life dedicated to the art of watchmaking, from collecting to creating.

1. Los Angeles to Switzerland

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I’ve lived all my life next to the ocean under the suns heat. Being Half French, which means I am perfectly bilingual and bi-cultural, facilitated my move from the USA to France then to Switzerland. The lakes and mountains are entirely new landscapes for me but I do feel at home here. My intense passion for horology is the biggest reason I see myself build a future in Switzerland.

2. Maurice André

My journey in watch collecting and watch design started when I inherited my great grandfathers omega collection. Always having been attracted to watches, this event ignited the passion for horology in me. I started collecting a couple more watches and learning to repair them so I could collect on a budget. I love collecting and wearing watches as much as I love designing them.

3. Making Creativity my job

I’ve been overflowing of creativity since a very young age. From award winning short films, to photography, to graphic design and even starting a clothing brand in highschool, my love and need for creation and my desire to make something tangible for people only grew bigger. My studies in mechanical engineering have enabled me farther to create whatever I imagine. Working as an Industrial Designer in the watch industry means a lifetime of happiness for me.

I won’t stop at anything to achieve this dream.

4. Bitch

“I think we are going to give you that internship, Bitch” are the words that cemented my entry in the watch industry when Francois Henri Benhamias gave me the opportunity to intern at Audemars Piguet as an Engineer and Designer. Winning the Wristcheck x Audemars Piguet design contest kick started my quest to break in the watch industry. My simple yet innovative idea of making a uv color reactive dial peaked AP’s interest and got me working in places I had only dreamed of. Designing and 3D modeling novelties for AP was that dream come true.

5. Meeting you guys

I am a pretty approachable guy and I love to meet new people. Everyone has an amazing story to tell. You might see me around at watch events always curious about what you guys can share with me and happy to share my dream and my passion. I cannot wait to graduate in 2025 and join you all for good.
