Aquanaut Luce Annual Calendar Ref. 5261R-001

Following on from the dual-time model launched in 2021 and 2022’s chronograph, Patek Philippe introduces another useful complication to the Aquanaut Luce collection: an annual calendar showing day, date and month that requires a single adjustment per year. It completes the brand’s offering of ladies' complication watches in the sport-luxe segment with a model for women who prefer a timepiece without the addition of diamonds or other gemstones. The 39.9mm case contains the automatic 26-330 S QAjLU calibre. Based on the 26-330 S C movement introduced in 2019, this new calibre incorporates a number of technical innovations and optimisations. By inverting the annual calendar module, Patek Philippe has given a different face to the blue dial with its embossed Aquanaut pattern, with the date in an aperture at 6 o’clock across from moon phases in an aperture at 12 o’clock, plus day and month in subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively. Baton hands sweep applied Arabic numerals, all filled with luminous material for readability. Contrasting polished and satin finishes accentuate the familiar rounded octagonal shape of the case and bezel in rose gold. The integrated strap’s composite material provides excellent resistance to traction, wear, saltwater and UV rays.
