Big Bang Tutti Frutti Linen

Denim and lace make way for linen! True to its "art of fusion" philosophy to introduce new materials to watchmaking, Hublot has chosen this natural plant fibre for the strap, but also the case and dial of the new Big Bang Tutti Frutti Linen collection. A genuine alternative to carbon fibres, linen fibres are equally resistant in terms of mechanical strength as well as lighter in weight. They also lend themselves to an astonishing range of colours. The fibres are hand-woven into a unidirectional weft, then dyed and combined with a transparent composite. Each watch in the collection gets an all-over colour treatment, from the linen strap, which is stitched on rubber, to the case, the linen dial and its composite resin inserts, even the stones set into the bezel. They all house the HUB4300 chronograph movement, derived from the Valjoux 7750.
