Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic
When ceramic first appeared in watchmaking, it was typically black or white. Renowned for its fusion of materials, Hublot took a more disruptive view and led the way by gradually introducing different shades, starting with Big Bangs in blue, grey and green. They were followed, in 2019, by a world-first vibrant red, then in 2021 by sunny yellow. Now Hublot continues its explorations with the introduction of bold orange. Produced as a limited edition of 250, the Big Bang Unico Orange Ceramic offers a unique and uniform colour, with a perfect mirror polish across its entire surface. Hublot has even recreated the exact same shade for the counters and hands, as well as for the rubber strap, which incorporates the patented One-Click system for quick, tool-free changes. Housed inside the 42mm case, the automatic Unico manufacture flyback chronograph calibre runs for 72 hours on a full wind. This skeletonised movement breaks out Hublot's signature column wheel at 6 o'clock, a silicon escapement and a bi-compax layout for small seconds and the 60-minute counter, which incorporates the date window.
