Black Bay 58
In 1958 Tudor launched its first dive watch, water-resistant to 200 metres and with a 39mm diameter — a characteristic size for a mid-century timepiece. Named for that milestone year, this new version of the Black Bay 58 carries forward this vintage aesthetic but also incorporates elements from a 1990s Tudor prototype featuring a satin-finished burgundy dial and matching bezel. In addition to its striking colour, this latest Black Bay 58, which is powered by the Tudor Manufacture MT5400-U movement, has Master Chronometer certification: one of the toughest standards in terms of precision and resistance to magnetic fields. To qualify as a Master Chronometer, the fully assembled watch must pass a battery of tests carried out by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). Tudor is offering this Black Bay 58 on a five-link bracelet, a triple-link bracelet or a rubber strap, all with the T-Fit rapid adjustment clasp.
