Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde Chronograph Tourbillon

In 2022 TAG Heuer showcased its Diamant d’Avant-Garde technology in a chronograph whose case, crown, dial and indexes were paved with lab-grown diamonds. A year later, the brand takes this expertise a step further with the TAG Heuer Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde Chronograph Tourbillon, a 44mm matte black chronograph with a bicompax dial and facetted lugs. Case, bezel and bracelet are made from sandblasted anodized aluminium then set with 8.1 carats of lab-grown diamonds in custom shapes. As for the crown, it is a single lab-grown diamond of 2.5 carats. The dial is composed of three polycrystalline diamond plates, created by growing multiple diamond crystals as one, and 12 lab-grown diamond indexes (4.9 carats in all). Total weight for the watch’s 124 diamonds is 15.5 carats. The “engine” inside is the Heuer 02 Tourbillon Nanograph calibre. COSC-certified and with 65 hours of power reserve, it incorporates an anti-magnetic carbon nanotube balance spring. This exclusive watch is made to order in limited numbers.
