Cartier Reflection

After the Clash [Un]limited and the Coussin, Cartier continues its exploration of bold and imaginative designs with the Reflection de Cartier watch. The skills of the brand's watchmakers and jewellers are woven together in a (literal) reflection of Cartier's investigations into shape. The starting point is the generous architecture of an open bracelet that blends gold, polished to a mirror sheen, with elongated lines and crisply defined edges. The result is a face-à-face between the silvered dial and its reflection, creating the illusion of time travelling in reverse. The gem-like facets of the dial's crystal hint at this dual identity of watch and jewellery. Cartier interprets this construction in five ways, in white gold, including gem-set versions, yellow gold and rose gold. This model is set with 6.62 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds in snow and inverted settings.
