The Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black returns to one of Hublot’s defining concepts: All Black, introduced in 2006. It’s a signature the brand shares with Takashi Murakami, founder of the Superflat movement. For his collaboration with Hublot, the Japanese contemporary artist has drawn one of his famous “smiling flowers”, leaving it to Hublot’s engineers to design a ball-bearing mechanism so that the petals can spin on the dial. Whereas the petals sit under the sapphire crystal, the central, smiling part is an insert mounted on top, for a three-dimensional effect. The flower face and petals are set with 563 glistening black diamonds. This 200-piece limited edition is equipped with the automatic HUB1214 movement that provides 72 hours of power reserve.
