Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding Chronograph 41 mm

Six new references join Audemars Piguet’s Code 11.59 collection, with automatic and automatic chronographs in a 41mm steel case – the first time this metal has appeared in the line-up. Also new is the stamped dial whose specially-created pattern of concentric circles creates a unique gradient effect that enhances legibility. These dials are coloured by PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) for the blue and green versions, while the beige shade is produced by a galvanic process. Audemars Piguet has fitted these new releases with next-generation movements: Calibre 4302 with seconds and a date indication, and Calibre 4401, an integrated automatic chronograph with a flyback function, operated by a column wheel. Further refinements are the vertical clutch, which prevents the hands from jumping when the chronograph is activated or stopped, and a patented reset mechanism.
