Diva Finissima Minute Repeater

The Diva Finissima Minute Repeater celebrates a century of jewelled ladies' watches from Bulgari by bringing together the best of both these worlds. The movement is the thinnest repeater calibre in the world, first revealed in 2016 inside the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater for men. The exterior draws on the Italian firm's long tradition of jewellery and gem-setting, which it combines with an ancient Japanese lacquerwork technique known as urushi. This method involves the application of a dozen layers of vegetable lacquer to the dial over a period of one month. Each layer must be allowed to dry before being polished with powdered deer horn. Only then is the dial sprinkled with gold flecks and covered with a final layer of transparent lacquer. Just ten of this Diva Finissima Minute Repeater will be made.
