Égérie moon phase

Vacheron Constantin chose Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 to unveil two creative collaborations with the haute couture designer Yiqing Yin. The first, a unique concept watch, is cased in rose gold, set with diamonds, surrounding a lilac mother-of-pearl dial embellished with a pleats pattern. The strap, which is woven with delicate embroidery and fragments of mother-of-pearl, encapsulates an original fragrance, created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion. This perfume is released by the movements of the wrist. The second watch is the Égérie moon phase. A limited edition of 100, its 37mm rose gold case can be worn on any of three interchangeable straps. Set with 58 round diamonds on the bezel, it embraces soft lilac shades and retains the collection's signature features. The dial, in mother-of-pearl, juxtaposes smooth and pleated textures, while the moon-phase display is part of the diagonal formed by the Vacheron Constantin logo and the crown. Mother-of-pearl is a particularly fragile material and was meticulously crafted to create the pleated pattern, surrounded by individually hand-applied gold 'pearls'. The moon-phase display also incorporates lilac mother-of-pearl and is hemmed by 34 round diamonds. Indications are driven by the in-house Calibre 1088 L. Beating at 28,800 vibrations/hour and visible through the case back, it provides 40 hours of power reserve.
