Beneath the infinitely sober exterior of the Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon lie the hugely complex mechanisms of the fourteenth calibre to be produced by H. Moser & Cie. since 2005. The result of an ambitious technical development, it brings together a magnificent flying tourbillon and a repeater striking the hours, quarters and minutes. These two traditional complications are at the heart of an unconventional staging in the pure style favoured by the Schaffhausen brand. From the front, the eye is irresistibly drawn to the movements of the hammer and gongs that shine against the almost bare, black lacquer dial. So as to conserve this purity and also to fit within the confines of the slim, white gold case, the gongs are assembled on a single level and are curved so as not to interfere with the flying tourbillon. Turning the watch over reveals the hand-executed Moser double stripes; a reminder of the brand's respect for watchmaking traditions.
