Directly inspired by a 1928 Vacheron Constantin chronograph, this jubilee model celebrating the 260th anniversary of the Maison clearly vaunts its proud lineage, particularly with a pulsometric scale painted in red around the dial circumference and serving to calculate the pulse rate on a 30-beat scale. The construction of this manual-winding chronograph movement with its dragging display 45-minute counter, small seconds and power reserve benefited from the latest production technologies – notably resulting in an “all or nothing” system that avoids the chronograph mechanism being activated without actually starting, thereby optimising the reliability of the movement.
