Heritage Chronométrie Chronograph Annual Calendar

This year, Montblanc introduces a new combination of complications: a chronograph together with an annual calendar that requires just one adjustment a year, at end February. It is part of the Heritage Chronométrie collection, which ever since its launch has proposed horological complications at carefully studied prices. Clever use of colour ensures the various information is easily read, with blued hands for the chronograph indications and red gold-plated hands for the hours, minutes, seconds and calendar data. Completing the picture is a moonphase display at 3 o'clock, where the principal cycles of the moon are shown by a red gold hand. This depiction harks back to the origins of time measurement, when men relied on sundials.
