Calendar
The perpetual calendar which Ulysse Nardin introduced in 1996 was the first to allow the hour and the calendar functions to be adjusted forwards or backwards via the crown. This same functionality returns in the Marine Perpetual alongside another breakthrough, this time in the artistic crafts. Like Roger Dubuis in early 2015, Ulysse Nardin introduces a revolutionary setting technique that pairs gemstones with rubber. Extremes of hard and soft, diamonds and rubber, meet on the watch's steel case. Other versions explore other colours paired with blue, red or green sapphires, while the black rendition is set with ceramic stones.
