This Miss Audrey by Bovet reveals a dial decorated using a material and process that are entirely new in watchmaking: pure sugar! First of all, the crystals are prepared to ensure their structure will not alter when exposed to heat or light. They are then sorted for size before being carefully combined with special paints, which are hand-applied by one of Bovet’s artisans and specialists in miniature painting. This patented process leaves no room for error. Several colours are proposed, including solid tones as well as gradients. Echoing the care and love that goes into each unique dial, the hour and minute hands form a heart when they meet, once each hour. Bovet presents this Miss Audrey Sweet Art in an Amadeo case, set with 103 diamonds on the bezel and bow, which converts from wristwatch to pendant to table clock without the use of tools.
