Patek Philippe begins a new chapter for its legendary Nautilus 5711/1 – one of the most sought-after watches with iterations in steel then, from 2015, pink gold. This luxury sports watch returns in a fresh interpretation whose white gold case frames a blue sunburst dial that graduates to black at the edges, furnished with applied indices and rounded baton hands. At 41mm, the two-part case, which is rated water-resistant to 120 metres, is very slightly larger than the original version, while the automatic calibre 26-330 S C – visible through the sapphire back – incorporates a stop-seconds mechanism so that the time can be set to the nearest second. A white gold bracelet, fastened by a secured folding clasp, includes a lockable system and can be expanded by 2 or 4 millimetres.
